Idaho Courts Transition To Odyssey System

By the end of 2018, all Idaho counties were migrated from a legacy paper-based system to a modern statewide electronic online judicial system.
For the first time in Idaho’s history, all of its courts – from trial courts through appellate courts – now operate on a common, shared system. This new platform provides improved access to court records, greater convenience for court users, better information exchanges with judicial partners, and significant efficiency improvements for court personnel.
The data provided across the Court Financials site is based on each respective county's transition date to the Odyssey system.  Prior to the transition, counties utilized their own processes in recording case data. As a result, data input varied in type and consistency from county to county. With the transition to a statewide system comes the opportunity for Idaho's courts to utilize common business processes and the collection of data in a central location. As a result, most current data reflects only information reported after individual counties implemented the Odyssey case management system. The following chart is for ease of reference in determining when a county's data came online.
